Share your expertise and support your Chapter… Volunteer today! This year, the CoreNet Global Mid-Atlantic Chapter is planning on adding even more value to its members by delivering more quality events. To do that, we need the help of energetic volunteers just like you! The following committees could all use support with current objectives and help in creating new ones.
Education: Provides engaging and industry relevant speakers at engaging venues in support of professional development for members. To do this they need help identifying and securing speakers, developing topics for sessions, and all the aspects of meeting planning for the events.
Membership: Members are the life blood of our organization. This committee helps grow the chapter by identifying new members and keeping other members engaged. You may be asked to help with calling members whose membership will soon expire, contacting prospects and explaining the benefits of membership.
Young Leaders: Focused on identifying potential members new to the industry and helping them get a jump start on their professional development.
Special Events: This energetic and creative group plans all the fun stuff. It is hard work, but make no mistake it is outweighed by the rewards. Subcommittees include:
- Annual Awards of Excellence - Yearly event where industry leaders from our chapter are recognized for their contributions to the chapter and the industry.
- Holiday Party - December event where everyone gathers for a night of cheer and supports “Toys for Tots”
- Annual Golf Outing - This subcommittee selects locations and organizes a very successful chapter event.
- Happy Hours - This team organizes informal gatherings at local establishments for the purpose of networking, relationship building, and just good fun.
Sponsorship: Responsible for calling on potential sponsors and offering them the opportunity to get great company recognition by sponsoring for either the whole year or for single event.
