About the Awards

For the past 14 years, the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of CoreNet Global has used its Annual Gala as an opportunity to recognize outstanding leadership in the corporate real estate industry. The Gala is a terrific evening of networking and fun but, more importantly, it serves as an opportunity for the Corporate Real Estate community to recognize those individuals and companies who are advancing the profession.

The Awards of Excellence have established themselves as one of the most sought-after in the Mid-Atlantic Region. In addition to the awards gala, winners of these awards enjoy promotion on the Mid-Atlantic website, in the digital newsletter, and at educational and networking events throughout the year. And the 2018 CoreNet Mid-Atlantic Pinnacle CRE Leadership Award goes to...
Lorena González

Lorena González Director of Real Estate for Kaiser Permanente is the 2018 recipient of the CoreNet Global Mid-Atlantic Pinnacle CRE Leadership Award. She is honored for her work on the planning of a new facility in New Carrollton, MD that was complex and demonstrated the power of collaboration to great win-win workplace solutions. Congratulations Lorena.

Lorena joined Kaiser Permanente in 2004 and her areas of responsibilities include Real Estate, Property Management and Administrative Occupancy Planning.

Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente she spent 9 years at Grosvenor USA, an international property development, investment and fund management group with headquarters in San Francisco, CA, as their Senior Asset Manager. During her tenure at Grovenor, Ms. González was responsible for overall asset performance of over a million square feet of office and retail assets in Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland and Chicago, IL. This included management and strategic efforts included but not limited to leasing strategies, marketing, client/tenant relationship management, development, forecast and day to day management of all income, capital and operating expenses.

Lorena served as a board member of Kaiser Permanente Latino Employee Resource Group, a current member of Corenet Global, the world's leading association for corporate real estate (CRE) and workplace professional, service providers and economic developers. She led the chapter as president in 2012 and served on the board as past president in 2013. She also served as a board member of CREW in 2001.
