The CoreNet Special Events and Education Committees are coming together to plan a June tour of the newly constructed Sagamore Spirit Distillery, developed by Sagamore Development in 2017. The members will participate in an interactive tour of the waterfront facility and learn more about the copper column still, processing facility, proofing tanks and how water is brought in from Sagamore Farm – a historic thoroughbred horse racing farm 22 miles from the distillery. The group will also have an opportunity to taste the award-winning spirit brand. The Happy Hour portion of the evening will begin with some of the Weller Development leadership team discussing recent work and upcoming projects in Port Covington area.
