The 2017 CoreNet Global Mid-Atlantic Pinnacle CRE Leadership Award goes to one of our Chapter's most fervent advocates for the value of CoreNet membership, educational and network opportunities. Steve Dunn, AIA, MCR, he's the Director of Workplace with CSRA. He has consistently delivered results in many aspects of his professional and personal life; within CoreNet. Steve has served on Mid-Atlantic Gala Committees, and Co-Chaired Community Reinvestment and Sustainability through the years. He's spoken at Chapter, ERS and Global Summit events. He's led 9 mission trips with his church building and rebuilding homes, orphanages and communities throughout the Western Hemisphere.
Steve's approach toward the Workplace tends toward a creative, effective, and collaborative solution. His outgoing and warm personality combined with his innovative and strategic thinking, help him establish a vision and convey it to diverse audience. As a response to the merger between CSGov. and SRA in Dec. 2015 his team has strategically closed 27 and opened 4 locations. Today the portfolio has 143 locations including 27 international with a total portfolio of over 3.3MSF. They are currently, executing a Strategic Real Estate Plan for the 27 metro DC locations which should close / consolidate additional locations and complete a Sale Lease Back of their Falls Church HQ. Steve's experience includes base building and interior architecture, strategic real estate planning, transaction management, mergers & acquisition, facilities management and financial performance.
